Fromm over the middle to Tremayne again and that goes for 13 yards and a first down with under a minute to go. Fromm was looking for Tremayne and he got held up by Mayfield which gives the Commanders a first down after the PI penalty. Fromm moved right out of the pocket and had Hodges down the field, but just overthrew him on 3rd and Fromm was under pressure from Simpson and did well just to let the pass go and not take a sack but they said it was a fumble that went out of bounds and that will be a loss of 9 yards.
Fromm over the middle to Allen for 12 yards and that will move the chains as we head to the Two Minute Warning. After a false start, it's a short throw to Hodges on the right side and that Fromm throw goes for 7 yards. WAS get it back at the 9 yard line with a chance to take the lead, and Fromm goes deep for Hodges on the right sideline, but that falls through his fingertips.
Brown on the QB keeper and he takes it down the right sideline for a 25 yard gain. Out pattern to Patterson on the left sideline, and he broke through one tackle and the wiggled down the sideline for a 15 yard TD catch and run!!. The two point conversion is no good after Fromm rolls out and found Arnau, but Kelly closed down and tackled him for no gain!!!
Patterson with a run up the middle for 3 yards and the Commanders are looking at 3rd and short. Fromm hanging in the pocket and he finds Mcgowan over the middle for 11 yards on the readjusted route. Gore to the left side on the first down run and he breaks it for 15 yards. Brown rolls right and looks for Vokolek but that pass falls incomplete and the Ravens will punt after the interception.
Wright gets a couple straight handoffs and after a gain of 3 and maybe a yard, the Ravens are looking at 3rd and 8 from the BAL Brissett looking deep for Bates, but he is picked off by Hayes who was waiting for the pass thrown behind the WR. Rodriguez takes it to the right side and picks up 8 yards for the first down.
Brissett finds Mcgowan on the slant pattern and he gets 14 on the quick throw. WAS gets the ball back from the 25 and Rodriguez gets the handoff after fumbling on the last play, and he gets 7 yards. Brown looking over the middle for Vokolek again and they connect for a TD for the second time in this half. Brown wasted no time getting the Ravens in the endzone on the first drive of the second half.
He hit Vokolek from 17 yards out to give BAL the lead. BAL line up to go for it and they don't even have to take a snap to get the first down. Short pass from Brissett to Rodriguez out of the backfield and he picks up 4 yards before being pushed out of bounds. Brissett finds Brown over the middle and he makes a couple moves down field for a 16 yard pick up and a first down. Brissett flushed out of the pocket and he moves the chains on a 4 yard gain before running out of bounds. Brown with a perfect first drive!!. He finds Vokolek over the middle and he lays out some punishment before crossing the goal line for the 17 yard TD!!!
Handoff to Mitchell and he pops outside and sprints down the right sideline for a gain of 31 yards, and what speed Mitchell just showed right three. Brown was under pressure and spun out of trouble opening up space to pick up 6 yards and a first down before being pushed out of bounds. Anthony Brown is under center to start the second half, and Gordon on the delayed handoff on first down and he picks up Brissett steps up in the pocket and finds Milne over the middle, but that play is cut short of the first down.
Washington get the ball to start the half and it's Jacoby Brissett in under center, going to the air on first down and his pass to Rodriguez is incomplete. 
Howell found his former college teammate, Dyami Brown in the end zone after a quick drive to take the lead from the Ravens before heading to the halftime break. The Commanders took the lead after the Two Minute Warning, but it was Johnson who led a three play, 75 yard drive to the end zone to go ahead with less than seconds to go in the half.
The Commanders had to wait until under to go in the first half to find the end zone, but that doesn't mean they were playing bad on the offensive end before that. Josh Johnson and the Ravens marched right down the field to start the game, putting 7 on the board with this 27 yard catch and run from Flowers. The Ravens take a knee and that will bring us to halftime after one of the most entertaining first halves of preseason football you will ever see.
Howell had all the time in the world to find a receiver, and he finds Brown for an 11 yard TD and the Commanders take the lead!!. Howell shifting around the pocket and after breaking a couple of tackles, he rolls right and finds Dotson down the right sideline for a 20 yard gain. Dotson on another comeback route and he spins up field for a 17 yard gain!
WAS take a timeout with 30 seconds on the clock. After a false start, Howell finds Dotson on the comeback route right at the marker, and that 16 yard pick up will earn another first down. McLaurin over the middle on the crossing route and Howell hit him in stride for a 13 yard pick up and a first down. Howell tucks it and runs towards the sideline and gets 8 yards as a flag flies downfield for defensive holding.
That will give the Commanders an automatic 1st down. Howell gets the ball back at the 21 and he is dropped for a 7 yard loss by Moon. In just three plays, the Ravens go 75 yards and take the lead with this 7 yard TD from Johnson to Wallace. Johnson goes to the back shoulder throw to Wallace and the timing couldn't have been better!
Three plays, 75 yards, and seven points and the Ravens take the lead again. Johnson goes deep again, this time looking for Wallace who was behind the defender, and Wildgoose ended up getting a piece of the WR before the ball got there. The Ravens start their drive from the 25 with under to go and Johnson finds Kolar over the middle for 33 yards on first down!
The Ravens were knocking on the door, but Martin comes up with the pick in the end zone which leads to a 14 point swing. Howell over the middle for Gibson out of the backfield and he spins into the endzone after taking a hit. Howell looking for Brown over the middle and he had the ball in his hands, but Washington ripped it out of his hand.
Robinson to the left side and he picks up 2 yards on first down. Touch pass over the middle Dotson over the middle and he makes the catch, turns and picks up 16 yards and a first down. Howell with all night to throw and he finds Robinson out of the backfield for an 8 yard catch and run. Proche had a step on his receiver, and Johnson took a shot to the end zone but he had pressure in his face and the pass was underthrown and bobbled by Proche who deflected it right into the arms of Martin who made the top tap pick and returned it 57 yards!!!
Johnson is rolling right now, he hits Demus on the left side for another first down on the 11 yard completion. Johnson with a laser down the middle and he finds Kolar in between the safties for a gain of 28 yards. Johnson tucks and runs on first down and he gets 7 yards before getting chased down by Anderson. Screen pass to Mitchell to the right side and he picks up 6 yards and another first down.
Johnson on the keeper to the left side and he gets 5 yards on the scramble before getting pushed out of bounds. Johnson was backing up in the endzone as the pressure came and he found Ricard over the middle for 5 yards and a first down. A great punt sticks the Ravens inside the 2 yard line and Gordon gets 5 yards on first down to give BAL some breathing room. Howell going deep to Brown on the right sideline, and Seymour was there to bat that ball away and the Commanders will punt on 4th and 9.
A defender jumped offside and Howell had a free play. His pass over the middle was incomplete to Turner, but the Commanders will get another chance on 3rd and 9 from the WAS Howell looking to Robinson out of the backfield and he is cut down on the right sideline after a gain of just three. Howell out to the flat for Gibson and the 6 yard gain is coming back after a holding call on Charles.
Howell over the middle for Dotson, and he was being draped by Harrison who is flagged for a defensive PI. Great opening possession from Howell who looked impressive, but the drive stalled inside the 10 and the Commanders settle for a 21 yard field goal from Sly. Howell took it up the middle on what looked like what could have been a designed run and he is stopped short of the goal line.
Blitz came, and Howell was flushed out of the pocket. He ends up throwing it away and the Commanders will have 3rd and Goal from the 6. Good, smart play from Howell not to force anything. Delayed handoff to Robinson who picks up 3 yards as the Commanders inch towards the endzone. Comeback route from McLaurin and he makes the catch for 13 yards and another first down!!!
Howell dropped back but tucked it quickly and picked up the first down after a six yard gain. Howell over the middle and he finds McLaurin wide open over the middle for 13 yards and another first down. Deep in from Turner and Howell fires it in to the numbers for a gain of 16 yards and a first down!!!
Blitz came, Howell escaped it for a moment but held on to it too long and is dropped by Nichols and Jones. Screen pass to Robinson who got tripped up from behind but fell for 4 yards and a first down. That first possession could not have gone any better for Baltimore. Six plays, 75 yards and a TD from 26 yards out.
Johnson finds Flowers on the crossing route and he goes weaving through the defenders for a 26 yard TD catch and run. Perfect start for BAL who had 5 first downs on their first six plays. They lead early on. Hill bounces his run to the left sideline and cuts up the field for a gain of 15 yards.

Johnson with a short pass to the right for Flowers and he makes a couple moves and picks up the first down after the 11 yard gain. Johnson going to the air and looking to the left side for Kolar who had it in his hands and dropped it. He starts the drive handing off for Hill who gets 10 on the first down play up the middle.
Jackson led all rushers with yards, but J. Ravens vs commanders score Dobbins had yards in 8 games, Gus Edwards and Kenyan Drake flirted with yards in shortened seasons. This year Dobbins is likely to get the majority of the carries if he can stay healthy, but there are always some viable back ups in Baltimore, and we should get a look at them tonight. Howell might be the incumbent starter after starting the last few games of last season, but this list should show you, no quarterback is safe in Washington.
Dobbins or headline offseason signing Odell Beckham Jr. Lamar Jackson signed one of the richest contracts in the history of the sport this offseason , and it would be catastrophic to see him get injured before the start of the season. Somehow, someway, the Ravens have figured this preseason thing out. They have won 24 straight preseason games dating back to last decade, which tells you a lot about how Jim Harbaugh prepares his team from top to bottom.
Think of all the guys who have come and gone. All of the guys who have been cut or traded or were no use to the team, but in a direct or indirect way all of those guys are tied to this record. Howell threw both of his touchdowns inside the two-minute warning, one to Antonio Gibson and the other to Dyami Brown.
Brown concussion , along with fellow receiver Terry McLaurin toe , suffered injuries during the game. Brown was cleared to return, but McLaurin's status is unknown. Washington's offense proved in tonight's dress rehearsal that it is ready to conquer the regular season The starting defense didn't play, but given how strong that unit has been in the past few seasons, that side of the field should be ready for the season opener against the Arizona Cardinals.
